Genomics & Transcriptomics Laboratory (GTL)

Welcome to the Genomics & Transcriptomics Laboratory (GTL).

As a Core Facility the GTL performs qualitative and quantitative DNA and RNA Analysis of your samples. Our offering includes both Sanger-Analysis and QC-Analysis, as well as Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and Long-Read Sequencing (Oxford Nanopore / PacBio)
Have a look at our undefinedavailable Workflows section for an overview over available Workflows at the GTL for HHU and UKD members and how the GTL can support your research.

Job submission for the impatient

Please note our requirements concerning material, sample drop-off and transport and please use our undefinedTSM-System for job submissions.

Further Information about our TSM-System can be found undefinedhere.

Changes to the quality management at the GTL

The necessary prerequisites for a certification of the DNA Sanger sequencing and DNA fragment analysis at the Genomics & Transcriptomics laboratory have been adapted this year to the new undefinedstandard ISO 9001:2015. This is currently valid until 07.07.2019.
Due to the upcoming relocation of our lab to a new building, we will temporarily suspend the accreditation according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for NGS sequencing analyzes as well as the quantitative and qualitative nucleic acid measurements. If your analyses are affected, please contact us.
