STR Analyses

Authentication of human cell lines is performed using the GenePrint® 10 System (Promega) with its STR (short tandem repeat)-based detection. The identification includes eight different STR loci TH01, TPOX, vWA, CSF1PO, D16S539, D7S820, D13S317, D5S818 as well as amelogenin.

Upon analyses you will receive the raw data files of the fragment analysis (.fsa) as well as a list with information about the loci (.xls) to compare with reference profiles in STR databases.

Please deliver about 50 ng genomic DNA (5ng/µL) diluted in water or low TE.
